Despite the troubled economy, in 2009 we continued to provide scholarships to Hispanic law students, pushed for the appointment of Hispanic and other diverse attorneys to the judiciary, provided advocacy on issues affecting the Latino community, revamped our website, and facilitated new business and pro bono opportunities for our members.  As someone who benefitted from scholarships to get through college and law school, I am committed to increasing CHBA's funding of scholarships next year.  To accomplish this, we need our members, their guests, and friends of the CHBA to attend the 2010 Banquet to continue to make it the successful fundraising vehicle it has been in recent years.

In addition, sponsorship opportunities at various levels are available for law firms and other organizations.  For sponsorship details, please contact Damian Arguello, President-Elect, at damian.arguello@dgslaw.com or at (303) 892-7411.
